Weekly update for 01/01/2010 – Rachel 2
Happy new year! We kick off 2010 with a brand new hi-res portfolio of Rachel in festive party clothing enjoying her Marlboro 100s Lights. Rachel is a heavy smoker who was a lot of fun to shoot on camera. She had great endurance and was able to go on for hours, and we’ll all be reaping the benefit of her performance in 2010. I hope everyone had a good time this holiday season! I had fully planned on doing an update this weekend, even though it was Christmas week and Christmas happened to land on a Friday this year, which is normally update day. However, I’m afraid the holidays caught up to me no matter how well I thought I had it planned (that’ll happen when you have two excitable kids and a large extended family), and I don’t have an update for you this week after all. However, never fear – updates will resume next weekend and all will be well once again. Best wishes to you all, and here’s looking forward to a great new year!
Weekly update for 12/18/2009 – Paris 1 (and Melanie 3 previews)
Hi all, we’ve got a nice update for you this week! Paris debuts in the high-res section with an extremely sexy set of brand-new photos, dressed in nothing but a lacy little top. These photos are previously unreleased and represent some of the brand-new material you can expect from Lady Madonna in the coming weeks. I have also finally updated the free section with a few Melanie 3 photos, which has been in the member’s section for a little while now. I recently received an e-mail query from a visitor, and I’m sure many of you have the same questions he did:

First, I was part of your past of very satisfied customers, but I did not like the new site so it is great news to hear that it has been revamped and that updates are on their way.
Considering that we all have limited budgets, we have to choose between lots of competing sites and LM was only displaying old (even if great) material. The high definition pics are a great idea but it is not like new models.
Do you plan on having new models before Christmas? If not have you already identified new models? Are they heavy smokers? When will this new material be released?
I really look forward to it!
First, I’d like to say that I’m glad to be well on the way to having the site like it was before, but even better, as I also thought the “new” site wasn’t very good. :-) If you look over the site now, you’ll see that all traces of the “new” site are gone, and it’s back to being the way it was before. Navigation is smooth, easy, and fast, all the parts are integrated, and everything now runs on full auto-pilot, something that even the old “great” site didn’t have. Customers are now in full control of their own accounts, and since I no longer have to do any administration duties, this leaves me much more time for updates and new model shoots.
Yes, there are going to be new models, however I don’t think they’ll be posted by Christmas – I am shooting for January. (Of course, if I happen to get a shoot in the can before then, I will gladly share with you all early.) I am in the process of auditioning new models right now, and should be doing new shoots over the next 4 weeks. Having said that, I have a lot of material of classic models that was never released, and I will be concentrating on that as well. For example, next week’s update is a previously unreleased set of Paris. I also have unreleased sets from Naveire, Melanie and Rachel, plus video of Naveire, Rachel, Jade, Melanie and Alana that was never released (and probably some more stuff I’m not thinking of right now).
My goal is to have the site up to the level of production it was at before, and even more. There will be new pictures and video, new video products (including downloadable full-length videos), and I’ll be introducing sound in video as well. New video is going to be in full 1080 HD, and new photos will be HQ hi-res. We should be seeing all new material before the end of January. I have lots of great plans for the upcoming year, so don’t miss out! Thank you for your continued support, and as always I welcome your feedback.

As promised, weekly updates are back! This week we have a wintery offering from Miriam, a favorite older portfolio remastered in high resolution. New member section, and instant access at last!
Hi all, I hope everyone is having a good holiday season and enjoying good cheer! I’ve got some very big news today, and I hope everyone finds it as exciting as I do. First up: new member’s section! I have done away with the slow, outdated gallery I was trying to use, and instead went back to the reliable template I was using a couple of years ago. It’s nicely spruced up with a Flash slideshow gallery, and better yet, all picture portfolios can now be downloaded as self-contained zip files. No more having to download photo sets picture by picture – simply save the zip files to your computer, open them up, and you’ll find every picture from each photo set inside! Wait, what? Instant access? But ordering on Lady Madonna has always been a slow process, with each order needing to be manually processed, taking up to 24 hours, right? Not any more! The second change for today: new members now gain instant access upon ordering! It’s about time, eh? Now when you place an order for a subscription, you no longer have to wait for me to approve it, set up your member access and send you an e-mail with your access information. Instead, you now get to choose your own password, make your payment, and gain immediate access to the member’s section. All order processing is now handled through PayPal, but you do not need a PayPal account to place an order, and you can use any standard credit or debit card for payment purposes. What’s more, you can change your password at any time through your own account management page, and you can cancel your own account at any time through your PayPal account, so no more worrying about whether I got your cancellation e-mail or not.
(Old customers not on the new system will still need to e-mail me to cancel their accounts. But I have input all of your memberships into the new system and e-mailed you with your new access information, and you have the same access to the new member’s section that new members will have.)
The last section I have to fix up is the video section, and I’m working on that today. I’ll have a standard video clip listing and download section up by the end of today, and I’ll be working on something a little fancier in the coming weeks. Regular weekly picture updates will resume beginning tomorrow, December 11, and weekly video updates (including brand-new HD video!) will resume in early 2010. In the meantime, our complete video archive will be available for download starting today, including many clips which were never published in the old days.

New stuff…
How about a little tour through the new “old” website?
First, we go into the Entry page. Look familiar? It should – it’s a modification of the old home page, and it serves as a springboard to the rest of the website. All of your essential links are right here – the Member Login page, the Free Photo section, links to the blog and the store, and much more. Scroll down the page a little bit and you can choose to buy a membership or DVD. Scroll a little farther and you can see the Complete Product Listing, which shows you all available DVDs and model portfolios. Go ahead and click on a model’s name – it’ll bring you to the Free Photo section, where you can browse each model’s portfolio.
The Photo section, both for members and visitors, has been heavily redesigned. Gone are the clunky thumbnail pages that show only one album at a time. In their place is a beautiful slideshow-style presentation, with all of a particular model’s portfolios available just a mouse click away. The slideshow is interactive; take a little time to use the slideshow’s interface and see how it works. You can use it to select different albums from the same model, scroll left and right, select individual pictures, or play an automatic slideshow. If you click on the large picture, it opens a new window with a bigger version of the picture. You can save this picture to your hard disk if you like, just like you would any other picture.
Underneath the slideshow presentation are the model’s vital statistics, and sometimes a biographical bit. Under that, you’ll see a handy list of just the DVDs that include this model. Keep scrolling down and you’ll see the Complete Product Listing where you can easily choose a new model if you want. Again, all pertinent links for navigating the website are available to you.
If you add something to your cart, you’ll be taken to the storefront where you can choose to check out, or continue browsing the store. All of our DVDs are available in the store, and you can also find a full listing on our new Secure Order Form. I am still working on this section, but it’s all functional and you are welcome to buy a DVD or membership if you wish.

Hi everyone, I’m back. Again.
Hi all, I’m sure many of you are wondering, “What the hell happened? I thought he was back for good this time?” Sometimes even the best laid plans go swirling down the drain. I was away all summer, and when I came back I decided that I didn’t like the website redesign. Not at all. None of it fit together, it wasn’t cohesive, it wasn’t easy to update, and worst of all, I think it probably wasn’t a very good user experience. So over the fall, I’ve been retooling the website yet again and getting it ready for a re-relaunch.
There’s a saying that goes, “If you can’t find the time to do it right, when are you going to find the time to do it over?” The previous setup was relatively fast to set up and get going, but it just didn’t work for me, and I don’t think it worked for any of you either, at least not ideally. The good news is that this time I’m doing it right. The original site design was perfect, and I’m much better at mySQL and PHP now, so I can code better pages. And I’ve been doing exactly that – check out the new free preview index right here: Sample Model Portfolios. I’m now busy retooling the member’s section, which is almost done, and in two weeks I’m going to start updating the website on a weekly basis again.
Two more priorities for me: new shoots, and a new ordering system. It’s time I joined the 21st century and let you access the website as soon as you pay for a membership. I am putting a solution into place that will do just that, and by the new year, you should be able to order a membership and gain immediate access, just like every other membership website has offered all along. ;-) You will also be able to cancel your membership at any time online, without having to send me an e-mail, so the whole user experience should get a lot easier – both for you and for me.
New shoots are beginning in December and should start posting in January. I have upgraded my equipment with a Canon Vixia HF200 HD video camera, and will be posting new material in hi-definition video shortly. I have also decided to FINALLY break down and start doing natural audio. The requests for audio have come in loud and clear over the years, at least at a 10-1 ratio, and it will be easier than doing music soundtracks anyway. Old videos will not be redone, and will remain with a music background, but you can expect new HD videos to contain natural sound throughout.
And that’s it for now! I will try to update the blog a little more frequently and keep you all updated. Thanks for sticking with me, and I’ll do my best to build Lady Madonna back to its former glory.

Alana is a tall, slender and very beautiful African-American professional model who smokes like a chimney. She prides herself on being able to keep her weight down for modeling shoots, and confessed to me that smoking cigarettes is a key ingredient in that endeavor. This week’s update is an HQ remaster of one of her classic shoots with me.
